Many troubles we face in life have some explanation; we can attribute them to bad behavior, past experiences, trauma, some form of mental illness, even insanity. But what about when such explanations fail, leaving us with a compelling feeling that we no longer have choices? Is our only alternative to endure certain suffering? What of a loved one changing inexplicably for the worse, into a seemingly different person altogether? What explanation is there when someone we barely know, deliberately targets us to unleash their ill-will? 

Recognizing the work of the evil one is important. We cannot wage spiritual warfare against what we do not understand. When dealing with Satan--knowledge is power!

One explanation overlooked in our very modern society is demonic forces. One solution that’s lost its popularity is exorcism. Throughout history and even today, demons inhabit human bodies to do evil. The work of the devil is  to steal, kill, and destroy us on various levels. He  wants us uninformed; ignorant of his devious works. He wants us to remain in darkness regarding the awesome power of Christ which sets us free! 

Satan is a defeated foe!
