EXCERPT
And he asked his
father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast
him into the fire, and into the waters to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the
child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe: help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running
together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out
of him and enter no more into him.—Mark 21-25
Satan uses many things to keep us in bondage to him and as I have stated earlier, many of these means are natural
God given attributes that are meant to be used to aid us in ways that bring us closer to him, and helps us to learn of him.
Fear is not bad in its proper place. Anger is not bad in its proper place. Sex is not bad in its proper place. Ambition is
not bad in its proper place. Sadness is not bad in its proper place. Partying is not bad in its proper place. The devil however,
has a way of using these very things to tempt us to employ them negatively while taking us to levels that are ugly and destructive
in nature.
EXCERPT
Actually, believe it or not, he[Satan] does us a service by keeping us on
our toes. If we look at what power he truly has in and of himself, which is none; the only power that he has is to use that
forked tongue of his to try and convince our free will to accept him over God. He has to convince us to accept Satan’s
way over God’s way; chaos over peace; anger over forgiveness; or fear instead of faith. He keeps
us on our toes because if we are to have a quality of life that is worth living, we must be diligent concerning our relationship
with Christ.
EXCERPT
Spiritual ills are subject to spiritual laws. One cannot cure
a spiritual ill with a physical substance. Symptoms may be temporarily managed, but the cure has to be spiritual. This spiritual
law is one of the major reasons for unhappiness in the world. People refuse to understand this and try and try again to remedy
or cure situations in their lives that are of a spiritual nature with non-spiritual things.
